This Ordinance enters into force on 30 June 2009.
Abstract

This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 15 articles and one Annex, establishes: (a) exceptions to the registration of species and varieties of cultivated plants which are naturally adapted to local and regional conditions and threatened by genetic erosion; (b) requirements for placing of seed types and varieties specified above on the market. For the purposes of this Ordinance, genetic erosion is defined as the gradual loss of genetic diversity between populations or varieties of the same species or within them, or reduction of the genetic base types due to human intervention or environmental change.
