Abstract

The general objectives of the present Law are, inter alia, the supply of first-class agricultural and forestry products, raw materials and energy to the people of Styria; the conservation, maintenance and creation of cultivation and recreational landscape. The particular objectives of the Law are to: a) secure a modern sustainable development of agriculture and forestry in Styria; b) secure and improve working conditions in agriculture with a view to agricultural infrastructure; c) secure the marketing of agricultural products; d) conserve soil suited for agricultural and forestry interests. The text consists of 6 articles as follows: Tasks and objectives (1); Underlying principles (2); Measures to reach objectives (3); Competent authorities (4); Regulations (5); Final provisions (6).
