Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to competences concerning the Federal Emission Protection Act, in its version of 26 September 2002, (BGBl. I p. 3831). Article 1 establishes that the competent authority for the Land of Baden-Württemberg is the Ministry for the Environment. The text – consisting of 12 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: competent authorities for emission protection, establishment and running of facilities requiring permission, establishment and running of facilities not requiring permission, limitation of traffic, monitoring and improvements of quality of ambient air.
