Abstract The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of legislation concerning protection of the environment. Article 1 establishes that the Environmental Protection and Water Management Office enforces the Federal Environment Protection Act, unless the federal or cantonal legislation contains contrary provisions. The Office ensures cooperation with other law enforcement authorities.
