Abstract

The present Ordinance amends the Packaging Ordinance 1996 (BGBl. No. 648/1996). In particular, it amends article 1, paragraph 3, dealing with the bringing into circulation of packaging exceeding maximum values of cadmium, lead, mercury and chromium. It adds a paragraph to article 2 concerning the definition of packaging; it adds also article 10a on general aims of recycling; article 15a on electronic messages; article 18a on implementation of community law; article 18b on notification; and article 20 on repeal. Furthermore, it rewords article 10 concerning producers and exporters of packaging.
