Abstract

This Order determines the manner of implementation of international standard for the framework for risk analysis of harmful organisms no. 2- given in the Annex of this text. This standard prescribes the framework of the process of risk analysis of harmful organisms within the scope of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). It prescribes the three phases of a pest risk analysis: initiation, pest risk assessment and risk management. The standard focuses on the initiation phase and its attention is paid to general issues regarding information gathering, documentation. communication of risk, uncertainty and consistency.
