Abstract

This Order determines the manner for implementation of international standard on phytosanitary principles for plant protection and application of phytosanitary measures in international trade no. 1- given in the Annex of this text. This standard provides guidance on conducting a pest risk analysis (PRA) for regulated non-quarantine pests (RNQPs). It describes the integrated processes that will be used to assess risk and select risk management options to achieve a level of tolerance of harmful organisms.
