Abstract

This Order determines that as for detained shipment or harmful organism from third countries which represent an immediate phytosanitary danger for which the phytosanitary inspector ordered a ban on import and return to the sender or ordered laboratory testing or quarantine, the following must be notified: - all units of the phytosanitary inspection at the points of entry, - The State Inspectorate for Agriculture and the Sanitary Administration. This Order complies with the provisions of Commission Directive 94/3/EC of 21 January 1994 establishing a procedure for the notification of interception of a consignment or a harmful organism from third countries and presenting an imminent phytosanitary danger.
