Abstract

This Order of the Ministry of the Environment implements the Act on Waste by defining in details the content requirements of waste management plans, by regulating record keeping and by providing specifications on waste handling, requirements regarding waste handling facilities and their operation. The Order consists of 49 articles and is divided in six Parts: waste management plans; keeping records; batteries and accumulators; waste handling; details on application for rendering decisions and statements of state administration authorities in waste management; final provisions. The Order is completed by 15 annexes on, among others, monitoring of landfill, outlines of regional and district plans, registration of waste, reporting on waste generation and handling and report on quantities of production, export, import of waste.
