Abstract This Order establishes sanitary requirements to be satisfied by mariculture products. It consists of 24 articles and 1 annex specifying the conditions to be met in order to place on the market such products. It lays down the requirements for authorization, transport, exportation, fishing for stock enhancement, etc. as well as importation and exploitation of living marine species, in particular bivalve molluscs and marine gasterops (including a list of such species). It also establishes sanitary controls to be carried out and lists (in annex) quality standards for mariculture waters.
