The provisions regarding the requirements for obtaining the approval of aquaculture farming (art. 5) shall enter into force on 31 December 2013. Abstract The Order sets regulations concerning the authorization, registration and control of aquaculture facilities and their operation - followed by the certification for good-health status in adherence to EU regulations. Authorization to operate shall be granted by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration following thorough inspection and control of possible epidomologic and transmissable diseases cases detrimental to the aquaculture production and trade (also infectious pancreatic necrosis (IPN) and Bacterial Kidney Disease (BKD)). Registration of findings shall be notified through the CHR (Central Livestock Register) and processing of aquatic organisms resulting from suspected or infected farms or other premises. Aquaculture animals, eggs and semen, shall be registered for transportantion and delivery pourposes. Wastewater, freshwater and saltwater supply shall be subject to hygiene process before waste/discharge to prevent the spread of (possible) diseases.
