Abstract

This Order establishes total allowable catch (TAC) for 2001 of sword fish (Xiphias gladius). The EC Commission Regulation No. 2848/2000 of 15 December establishes a TAC for Portugal on 763 tonnes divided as follows: a) Fishing vessels registered in continental harbours = 504 t; b) Fishing vessels registered in the Autonomous Region of Azores' harbours = 236 t; c) Fishing vessels registered in the Autonomous Region of Madeira' harbours = 23 t.
