Abstract The purpose of this Order is to support the implementation fisheries policy through grants of financial subsidy and with the purpose of ensuring traceability of fishery and aquaculture products at all stages of production, processing and distribution - in accordance with article 58 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1224/2009. Approval for subsidy shall be granted by the Danish AgriFish Agency to collection centers (companies where the landed fish is prepared for first sale), auction houses, fishing vessel owner, product organizations, processors and retailers (companies selling fish directly to the consumer). The Order does NOT apply to the subsidy for purchase or leasing of equipment/materials, to projects under EU-financed projects, nor for expenses referred to in article 69, section 1 of European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013 of 17 December 2013 laying down common provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, European Social Fund, the Cohesion Fund, the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the European Maritime and Fisheries and the general provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, European Social Fund, the Cohesion Fund and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No. 1083/2006.
