Abstract The Order sets regulations concerning additional measures on ecotones in rural areas. It applies to regulations on reducing marginal buffer zone width, as long as it does not affect the control of Heracleum Mantegazzianum (giant Hogweed) growth. The Danish AgriFish Agency shall ensure approval of requests for reduction of ecotones, which must be submitted by 1 November 2012. Conversion of land for pasture may occur on buffer zones (ecotones) maximum every 7 years.
