Abstract

Within the regulations on fighting living organisms harming plant species, this Order sets rules with regard to the import of live beetles, eggs, larvae and pupae of the organism Diabrotica virgifera Le Conte. In order to prevent spreading of the disease, the Plant Directorate established a security isolated area with a radius of 5 km. where the affected crops shall be grown and which shall be subject to inspection and control.
