Abstract This Order approves the Ecotourism Plan of Cova, Ribeira de Paul and Ribeira da Torre National Park (PECPT) within Santo Antão island. This Plan, consisting of 5 Chapters, establishes a special tool for territorial planning which establishes the spatial framework, integrating the mapping, the synthesis zoning and their regulations, governing the modalities of ecotourism activities, ecotourism facilities and cultural events, security and protection, population, public and private organizations and participatory process, fees and penalties for illegal activities.
