The Order enters into force on 7 February 2011.
Abstract

This Order ensures that each swine - including sows, boars, gilts and piglets - produced and slaughtered in Denmark and officially approved for human consumption, shall be subject to payment of a fee. The fee amounts to DKK 4.45 for each animal with a carcass weight up to and including 109.9 kg and DKK 9.30 for each animal with a carcass weight of 110 kg and above.
