Abstract This Order applies to the preservation and development of the cultural history of Ilulissat and surrounding area located in Ilulissat municipality. The area is under conservation status and a precise delimitation of this area is viewable in Annex 1 and 2. The public has permission to access this area, however staying within the protected area for recreation and for commercial fishing and hunting, tents and open fires may only occur up to 3 days at the same location. Hunting cabins may only be used as bases for fishing and hunting - but it is not allowed to use the cabins for permanent habitation. Use of motorized vehicles and bicycle within the area is not permitted, however the use of boats is allowed.
