Abstract

This Order applies to materials and articles intended to come into contact with food under Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004. Commercial manufacturing of such materials shall need to be inspected for compliance with EU directives. The Order ensures that authorized substances among the packaging material (ceramic, plastic, glass etc.) must adhere to EU directives - in order to avoid poisoning from hazardous substances.
