Abstract

This Order applies to authorized oyster landing, fishing and transport in Limfjord. The authorization may be granted to vessels covered by regulations concerning vessels authorized to mollusc and oyster fishery shares (FTA units). Fishing and landing of oysters is prohibited in the fjord from 15 May to 31 August and certain fishing gear regulations apply to specific fishing areas (depth of fishing baskets not to be more than three meters). Oysters weighting less than 60 gr. shall be returned live into the waters. Landing may include 10% weight of mussels only.
