Abstract

This Order sets regulations to ensure the quality of drinking water and the monitoring of water supply systems. The approval set out in this Order includes factory-made construction products which are connected to drinking water supply to end-consumers, included in or connected to the fixed water installations affecting drinking water quality, and used in connection with buildings. A Supervisions Approval Secretariat must be accredited to ensure international standards for conformity assessment requirements are observed for the certification of products, processes and services of the Danish Accreditation and Metrology Fund (DANAK) or an equivalent accreditation body which is signatory of EA's (European co-operation for Accreditation) and IAF (International Accreditation Forum) multilateral recognition Agreement.
