Abstract

This Regulation establishes the rules for preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, restrictive and other measures, the establishment and lifting of quarantine and other restrictions aimed at preventing the spread and eliminating outbreaks Bothriocephalosis in cyprinids and establishes mandatory implementation requirements for preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, restrictive and other measures, establishment and cancellation on the territory of the Russian Federation of quarantine and other restrictions aimed at preventing the spread and elimination of foci of Bothriocephalosis of cyprinids. In order to prevent the occurrence and spread of botryocephalosis, natural persons and legal entities, individual entrepreneurs who are owners (possessors) of fish are obliged: (a) to provide, at the request of specialists of bodies and organizations included in the system of the State Veterinary Service of the Russian Federation, fish for examination; (b) within 24 hours notify the public service specialists of all cases of disease or death of fish, as well as changes in their behavior that indicate a possible disease; (c) to comply with the requirements of the specialists of the state veterinary service to carry out anti-epizootic and other measures provided for by this Regulation in a personal subsidiary plot, a peasant (subsidiary) farm, an individual entrepreneur's farm, organizations that keep fish; and (d) to comply with the conditions, prohibitions, restrictions in connection with the status of the region in whose territory the farm is located, established by the decision of the federal executive body in the field of veterinary supervision on regionalization for bothriocephalosis.
