Abstract This Order sets rules on import pets (cats and dogs) to Denmark in adherence to provisions of EU regulations. Until 30 September 2004, transportation of pets may occur if observing regulations of the following Acts: 1) Order No. 418 of 12 July 1988 on the import and transit of dogs and domestic cats. 2) Order No. 278 of 1 May 1989 on the certificate of rabies vaccination for importation of dogs and domestic cats. 3) Order No. 279 of 1 May 1989 on the import of dogs and domestic cats from Greenland. 4) Order No. 280 of 1 May 1989 on the import of puppies and kittens from European countries.
