Entry into force notes

This Order enters into force on 2 May 2018, but it will start to fully apply on 1 September 2018.

Abstract

This Order (taking into account the actual need to harmonize the Romanian national legislation with the Implementing Directive (EU) 2018/100 of the Commission of 22 January 2018; and Council Directive 2002/55/EC of 13 June 2002 on the marketing of vegetable seed) stipulates the updated European rules and procedures regarding the tests and necessary registration of varieties of agricultural plants and of cultivated vegetables (previously brought by the Order of the Minister of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development no. 1.348 of 23 December 2005 approval of the rules on testing and registration of varieties of agricultural plants; and by the Order of the Minister of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development no. 1349/2005 for the approval of Rules on the testing and registration of vegetable varieties).
