Abstract This Order sets regulations on granting subsidies to fishing ports by the Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries through the Danish AgriFish Agency. The Danish AgriFish Agency may, in accordance to art. 43 of Regulation (EU) No. 508/2014, grant subsidies which can help implementing fish landing; and to improve infrastructures in order to increase quality, control and traceability of landed products by ensuring environmental protection and safety for the working conditions on fishing ports, auction halls or landing sites. The total eligible cost of the project must be of a minimum of 100 000 DKK. Agreements for grants can be given to projects that are of collective interest of fishermen or aquaculture producers using port or landing sites and with the following requirements: that the project entails an environmental adaptation of fishing ports for the development of fish landing value and quality; and that the project is appropriate in relation to the provision of services to fishing vessels. Granting of subsidies may be of maximum 50% and suspension thereof in case of force majeur applies to expropriation and severe natural disasters.
