Abstract

It is not permitted to fish or land clams and/or oysters without the granted authorization from the Danish AgriFish Agency, who will also establish the allowed fishing and landing quota, total allowable catch in particular fishery areas and at specified periods. The Order applies to fishery made by FTA vessels (vessels authorized shares). These vessels must be owned by persons or companies entitled to exercise commercial fishing in adherence to article 39 of the Fisheries Act and FTA shares may be transferred only to persons or companies who are entitled to exercise a commercial fishery (art. 16 of the Fisheries Act).
