This Order enters into force immediately.
Abstract

This Order, consisting of 11 articles, establishes the specific procedures to be carried out by the Brazilian Institute of Environment (IBAMA) in order to fulfil with ports and port terminals environmental requirements, as prescribed by article 24-A of Law No. 10.683. The above mentioned specific procedures apply only to ports and port terminals without environmental licence, excepting extension works and port digging activities which are regulated by regular environmental authorization.
