Abstract The Order sets regulations on the Land Consolidation Commission’s responsibilities and composition of its 12 members elected every four years. The members (President, 2 Vice Presidents, 3 qualified assessors nominated by the Director of the Danish AgriFish Agency recommended by the Ministry of Business and Growth, 3 qualified agriculture specialists nominated by the Director of the Danish AgriFish Agency and recommended by the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, and 3 municipal members nominated by the Danish AgriFish Agency nominated by the Local Government Authorities). The validity duration of this Commission is from 1 April 2013 to 31 December 2018. The Commission’s responsibility is to ensure that legal compliance is being followed with regard to land distribution in cooperation with land consolidation authorities. This includes the calculation of land size and allocation planning, financial guarantee required by financial institutions.
