Public protection of aquatic biological resources is organized for the purpose of rendering assistance to the officials entitled with the task of the protection of aquatic biological resources and the natural habitats thereof. The public fishing inspectors must carry out together with the officials of territorial body of the Federal Fisheries Agency protection of aquatic biological resources and the natural habitats thereof, and ensure control over the enforcement of the normative legal acts in the sphere of the regulation of the management of aquatic biological resources.
