The Order enters into force on 1 March 1986.
Abstract

The Order aims to ensure biologically and socially acceptable hunting actiovities of caribou and applies to hunting activities licence for the allowed hunting period which goes between 1 August and 25 September; dogs may not be present during this hunting season, however may be included in the Kangaatsiaq municipality between 1 and 15 March. Individuals who have been granted a hunting permit must be knowledgeable in the sector and observe restrictions of hunting methods (semi- and full-automatic rifles are not allowed for hunting caribou). Purchase of catch is not permitted.
