The Act enters into force on 9 April 2005.
Abstract

Purpose of the Act is to ensure fish farms passage through fish farms holding water and/or discharge water to streams. It also ensures that farmed fish cannot escape into streams and wild fish from streams cannot enter the fishfarms by the use of lattice nets in the dammed areas.
