This Order enters into force on 17 January 2002.
Abstract

The Order sets rules on commercial hunting which must be authorized and operated only by persons holding a valid licence. Hunting activities must be registered and submitted to the Directorate of Fisheries and Hunting and can be issued to individuals who hold tax-paying status in Greenland for the past 2 years as well as primary source of income of minimum 50% in the hunting and/or fishing sector. Commercial hunting license is subject to a fee (DKK30) for its issuance. It requires the holder to register any catch and must submit it to the Directorate of Fisheries and Hunting between 1 October and 30 September. Hunting catch may be used for research purposes.
