Timber extraction without allotment of forest plot shall be carried out by citizens and legal persons in accordance with purchase and sale contract of standing timber, regional forest management plans and forestry regulations. The following types of felling shall be authorized for the purpose of timber extraction: (a) mature and overmature forest; (b) medium age forest, ripening forest, mature and overmature forest in case of felling of damaged forest species (sanitary felling) and intermediate felling; and (c) felling of forest species of any age on forest plots destined for construction, reconstruction and operation forest fire prevention facilities.
