Abstract

The Order’s purpose is to protect the natural and cultural values of Saltholm, surrounding islands, and the shallow parts of the territorial sea around Saltholm, in order to preserve its natural habitat. This Order supplements the Conservation Board's decision of 27 December 1983 on the conservation of the island Saltholm with adjacent islands. Prohibition applies to: traffic on the sea territory, with exception to the territorial sea within a distance of 50 meters from parts of Saltholm between 1 April and 15 July. Navigation with more than 10 knots of speed is prohibited. Hunting of wildlife and birds. Extraction of organisms and raw materials from the seabed.
