Abstract

The Order applies to fishing quotas in the Greenland fishery territory. The Order applies to territory positions specified in WGS84 with the corrections indicated in the Greenland current charts (art. 1). It sets regulations on the geographic areas where quota is allocated for scallops (article No. 6) and coastal-fishing for halibut (article No. 7). Suspension of fishing activities will be notified by the Fishery Authority when total allowable catch levels have been reached. Upon specified quotas exhaustion, fisheries shall cease. Each country’s quota shall be calculated separately (EU will be considered as one country).
