Abstract

The Order applies to the professional training and education of staff involved in animal slaughtering activities. These standards are set by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and certification of successfully passed exams shall be issued. The Danish Food Administration shall ensure that approved courses shall appear on www.fvst.dk – the Ministry’s official internet homepage. Until 8 December 2015, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration or approved course provider, shall issue certificates of competence to individuals who can prove at least three years of relevant professional experience (simplified procedure).
