This Order enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Order, consisting of 5 articles and 4 Annexes, provides for the year 2022 the identification of coastal and transitional and inland bathing waters, establishing the respective bathing seasons, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 135/2009 of 3 June, and qualification as a bathing beach, where the presence of lifeguards is ensured. It establishes the respective bathing seasons, in accordance with Law No. 44/2004 of 19 August and in accordance with the requirements established by Law No. 68/2014 of 29 August. Annexes list down the: Identification of coastal and transitional bathing waters, qualification of sea bathing beaches and identification of beaches of limited use on the mainland; Identification of inland bathing waters and qualification of beaches for bathing in river and lake waters in mainland Portugal; Identification of coastal bathing waters and qualification of sea bathing beaches in the Autonomous Region of the Azores. Identification of coastal bathing waters, qualification of sea bathing beaches and identification of beaches of limited use in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
