Abstract This Order sets regulations on applying for additional quota in shrimp-fishing. The requests for these applications are submitted to the Directorate of Commerce. Criteria for allocation of additional quota is granted if there is a risk that the total catch has exceeded and if vessels have exhausted at least 80% of the yearly total allowable catch; the additional quota allocated is of 25, 50 or 100 tons. If there is a risk that the total allowable catch is exceeded, national authorities shall notify suspension of fishing via radio and press.
