Entry into force notes
The Order enters into force on 1 October 2012. Ban on the sale of led shall enter into force on 1 April 2014. Ban on use and possession of lead shall enter into force on 1 October 2014.
Abstract

Purpose of the Order is to ensure to protect the environment and health from damages caused by the use of lead, specifically lead in bullets destined to firearms. Any commercial or leisure hunting activity taking place in Greenland and with lead bullets is forbidden.
