Abstract The Order defines regulations on the subsidy for all dairy products which must comply with relevant characteristics in adherence to EU regulations. The Plant Directorate and the Regional Food Board shall have delegation of administration and control over compliances with this Order. The Order specifically applies to: trade of dairy products and subsidy thereof. It applies to the refund of characteristic cheese, processed cheese, cheese powder and other cheese intended for export to third countries using EU export regulations, to the authorization of use of casein and caseinates in cheese; to purchase and subsidy for private storage of butter, cream and skimmed milk powder; to the sale at reduced prices of butter intended for the manufacture of pastry products, ice cream and other food products; to the subsidy for cream, butter and concentrated butter for the manufacture of pastry products, ice cream and other food products; to the sale at reduced prices for butter intended for direct consumption as concentrated butter; to the subsidy for concentrated butter for direct consumption; to the subsidy of skimmed milk processed into casein and caseinates; to the subsidy of skimmed milk and skimmed milk powder processed into foodstuff; and to subsidy to butter purchased by non-profit institutions or communities. Cheese must be graded for refunds in adherence to common rules listed in Annex 4 of Order No. 335 of 10 May 2004 on dairy products, which names of cheese comply with relevant characteristics. The Plant Directorate shall, upon requested authorization of a 12 months’ period utilize casein and caseinates in the manufacture of commodities listed in the EU Regulation Annex No. 2742/90.
