Abstract This Order applies to all EU countries' nationals, or of countries with which EU has concluded an agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications, and who wants to work within the professional animal section. The Order is regulated by the Danish Ministry of Environment and Food - through the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration - which is responsible for the inspection and authorization of the issue of licenses for professional animal handling. The Order implements EU provisions - DIRECTIVE 2005/36/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications and DIRECTIVE 2006/123/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 12 December 2006 on services in the internal market.
