Abstract This Order sets regulations on the import, sale and use of chemical substances or product containing one or more active hazardous substances intended for chemical or microbiological prevention of bacteria in plants and animals transported in ships/vessels. It applies to vessels, aquaculture equipment and other which is being used in water. The import, sale and use of antifouling paints containing biocides diuron (CAS No. 330-54-1) or Irgarol (CAS No. 28159-98-0) for vessels with a total length of 25 meters is prohibited.
