Abstract The Order aims to ensure professional and non-professional fishing in Greenland which takes place in defined territorial areas (baseline) and with defined fishing gear. Mesh size is determined under article 7 and applies to all marine fishes; in shrimp-fishing sorting grid with a bar spacing of 22 mm. or less is to be used and restriction of fishing in an area 3 miles from the coastal line applies to certain vessels in determined geographic areas.
