The Order enters into force on 3 April 1998.
Abstract

This Order aims to ensure appropriate and biologically sound exploitation of fishing resources in regards to the fishing of great whales. It is forbidden on Greenland's fishing territory to shoot or catch large whales. By "great whales" it is understood "minke whale" and whales that are larger than these.
