Abstract

This Order establishes food and beverage labelling requirements, by requiring detailed identification of certain ingredients (normal, liquid, and special ingredients) and authorized additives for human consumption. It is divided into 23 articles and 2 annexes laying down all information on ingredients to be written on labels. It also concerns alcoholic beverages of non-vinic origin (beer and fruit juices). A list of ingredient categories is contained in annex I. Annex II lists EC authorized additives for human consumption.
