It is divided into 23 articles and 2 annexes laying down all information on ingredients to be written on labels. It also concerns alcoholic beverages of non-vinic origin (beer and fruit juices). A list of ingredient categories is contained in annex I. Annex II lists EC authorized additives for human consumption.
