Abstract

The Order ensures that, for each suine (including sows, boars, gilts and piglets) produced in Denmark and slaughtered for human consumption a slaughtering and export fee must be paid. For animals exported live the fee shall be paid by the exporter (DKK 0.60) for each piglets with a live weight of max. 15 kg and DKK 1.35 for piglets over 15 kg to 50 kg live weight. For animals, including sows, boars, gilts and piglets exported live, the fee is DKK 4.80 for each one weighting over 50 kg and up to 135 kg and DKK 9.60 for each animal with live weight of 135 kg.
