Abstract This Order amends sword fish quota caught with surface longline in Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Amendments of articles 5 and 6 and Annex I deal with administrative and legal proceedings related to sword fishing quotas, specific conditions of use of quotas, prohibition of capture, keeping on board transport of swordfish with a live weight less than 15 kg, according to the recommendation of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT). Annex I establishes requirements for licensed fishing vessels to perform their fishing activity with surface longline in the Atlantic North beyond 5° N.
