Abstract The Order applies to gas produced from biomass used for heating and electricity production. Its purpose is to set regulations concerning the taxation in accordance to article 1, section 2, point 3 of the Natural Gas Tax Act. Companies supplying gas for personal use, must document the energy content of gas based on measuring its amount and heating value. When using meters to measure the amount of consumed gas, a type-approved gas meter meeting the requirements of Order No. 436 of 16 May 2006 must be utilized.
