It lays down provisions relating to the hunting and snaring of small game. In particular, section 3 lists the dates of the open seasons for hunting, shooting small game, whereas section 4 lists the dates of the open seasons for snaring small game. However, on the territories listed in section 3 and 4 hunting, shooting, and snaring of small game is prohibited. Field possession limit refers to the number of birds a small game licence holder may carry while hunting or travelling in the country (sect. 8).
