They apply to almost every licensee and result in the vast majority of Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) licences. Licence and certification requirements for nuclear substances and radiation devices applications are included in these Regulations. The text consists of 39 sections and 2 Schedules. Schedule 1 lists more than 100 nuclear substances whose use must be licensed when the quantities involved exceed threshold values.
